Workshop: Reducing the Effects of Risk: Helping Families Find Their Super Powers
Risks are present in every family. Why do some families seem to not just survive but thrive in spite of risks? The key is how they build and use their Super Powers – also known as Protective Factors. This workshop identifies the 5 Super Powers (Protective Factors) families possess that help them thrive and what school social workers can do to help strengthen these factors in students and their families.
